The GXMA is a fiber optic rotary joint (FORJ) for transmitting optical signals across a rotating interface without contact wear. This series is multi-channel, 2 to 31 channels, supporting single-mode and multi-mode transmission depending on the configuration.
Typical applications: radar and antenna turntables, high-definition video on rotating platforms, fiber sensing systems and medical or industrial imaging equipment where copper slip rings would introduce noise or bandwidth limits.
Selection notes: channel count, fiber type and connector style are specified per project. Electrical channels can be combined in the same unit when a machine needs both optical data and power across the same joint. Multi-channel models in this family are rated for up to 100 million revolutions.
GUREN assembles and tests fiber optic rotary joints in-house, including insertion loss checks before delivery.
Custom circuit counts, lead lengths, connector types and mounting flanges are quoted on request, and in-house machining keeps lead times short for both standard and modified units.
