Q4PM5 Pneumatic Rotary Union

Q4PM5 Pneumatic Rotary Union

The Q4PM5 is a pneumatic rotary union for transferring air or vacuum across a rotating interface. This model has 5 mm bore, 38 mm OD, 62 mm body length, and is part of the Q series, which also includes gas-electric versions that carry electrical channels in the same unit.

Typical applications: pneumatic chucks and collets, vacuum suction heads on rotating arms, air cylinders on indexing tables, and coolant or air supply to rotating tooling.

Selection notes: pure pneumatic units are rated −90 kPa to 1 MPa at up to 300 rpm; gas-electric combined units are rated −80 kPa to 0.8 MPa at up to 250 rpm. Choose the combined version when the same joint must carry both fluid and power or signals. Life expectancy for the Q series is 20 million revolutions.

GUREN machines and assembles rotary unions in-house and pressure-tests each unit before delivery.

Custom circuit counts, lead lengths, connector types and mounting flanges are quoted on request, and in-house machining keeps lead times short for both standard and modified units.

Frequently asked questions — Q4PM5

How many gas channels does the Q4PM5 have?

4 channel(s), interface M5, suitable for 4~6 mm hose.

What medium and pressure can it handle?

Compressed air, vacuum and inert gas. Confirm the required pressure and medium at order so the seal can be specified.

What is the working life and speed?

Up to 300 rpm and 20 million revolutions.

Can it be combined with electrical circuits?

Yes — see the Q series gas-electric versions where gas and electrical channels share the same unit.
